This is a guide to help you share your runs with the community! Sharing lines is what this community was founded upon, and it is one of our main missions, to share our discoveries so we can all have fun.
We will be using an imaginary beginner cross country line on the for this tutorial, but the method can still be applied to other sports!

Step One: Save your Line
So assume you just completed your line. The first step is immediately go back into map view, and you should see your line on the map. You need to save it. To do this hover over the line and press whatever button corresponds to the 'Action List Button', then press 'Save'
Step Two: Take some screenshots
Go back into the action list and watch the replay. Whenever you see something that looks cool that is part of your line and you would like to have in your description, pause the replay, hide the HUD, then take a screenshot. You can do this however many times you like.
Step Three: Where to put your post
Because this is a beginner freestyle run the line belongs in the appropriate category. The directory where this line is located in Routes > Ground > Ski/Snowboard > Cross Country (Long Distance) > Beginner.
Step Four: Writing your post
Click the 'new topic' button. This will bring you to a place where you can start writing. In the title put the world you're in inside brackets and then the name of your ride.
Example:
[Alps] Dream Girl
After the title it's time to start writing out the details. This is my preferred method. Remember to start a new line after writing each piece of information to keep things nice and neat and easy to read. First start out by Writing 'Start:' then write the starting coordinates (don't forget the N/S and the W/E at the end of each number!), then write the elevation of the starting point. If the starting point is near a point of interest or drop zone, include that information too for a reference.
Example:
Start: 3729 S - 97 E (8,734 ft) Just down the hill from the Pointe Percee Exit Point
After this you want to do the exact same thing, but instead of 'start' write 'end', and add in the appropriate information.
Then, add in the information for the distance, elevation change, information about if other sports are able to be used on this line. If there is any other information you feel should add (such as grade for example), be sure to include that too. After that, add an ETA, for how long it should take to complete the line. So far, the description should look similar to this:
Start: 3729 S - 97 E (8,734 ft) Just down the hill from the Pointe Percee Exit Point
End: 7645 S - 1418 W (1,555 ft)
Distance: 18,048 ft
Elevation Change: -7,205 ft
Minimum Grade: 10 degrees
Maximum Grade: 55 degrees
Average Grade: 30 degrees
Other Sports: Sled
ETA: 5-7 minutes ski/snowboard. 9+ minutes on sled
After all of that is completed, add in a description about what the line is like. Add things like what to look out for, where to go, what the view is like, jumping opportunities, etc.
Here is an example description:
Description: This ride is like a high school crush, it's beautiful and will leave you heartbroken cause you completed it too fast! This route has a little bit of everything, big open plains to carve your own name in, ditches for you to use as the half pipe of you dreams, and lots of nice spots for a jump or two. All while exposing you to absolutely BEAUTIFUL views, as beautiful as your dream girl, if not more.
Step Five: The route
A typed out description won't really give people the right idea about where to go. I suggest going back into map view and taking a screenshot of the route and inserting that for the route. Another method is to supply coordinates so people can place way points and follow those. However, that is tedious for both you and the person who's looking at your line so I don't recommend it.
To add a screenshot of the route download it to your computer. If you're on Xbox then get the Xbox app on your computer, navigate to game DVR, select 'On Xbox Live' then download your screenshots. If you are on PS4 get the PS4 app and download the screenshot to your phone then get it onto your computer via USB cable or dropbox or something. Of course if you're on PC you don't have to do any of this.
Look for the 'host image' button on the top tool bar with all the text options. I looks like a picture with a floppy drive on it. then, select your image and press 'send all'. Once it's loaded up, press insert all. Then 'press remove all' so you can add more images without re adding the one you just did. When you're writing, it will appear BB code with a link and not an actual picture until you submit your post.
If you're using a picture it's very important that the line is visible. If it isn't very visible try playing with the time of day and ambiance settings, also place some markers on the line to make the route more visible
Step Six: Add Screenshots
Now use the same method I talked about in the last step to add in the screenshots you took earlier. I suggest putting one space between each one.

When you're done click 'preview' at the very bottom of the page and your post should look something like this:
